Rules & Guidelines

While we wish to keep the zine chill and informal zone, in order to keep the project a safe and comfortable place for everyone involved, all contributors will be required to adhere to rules and guidelines as outlined below.ZINE RULES1. No harassment: this includes outside of the project as well as in the past. Anyone caught in harassment campaigns for any reason will be removed from the project.2. No drama - especially regarding shipping. The only ships that will not be included are the ones mentioned in our piece guidelines.3. By joining the project you consent to possibly seeing ships/characters that do not break the rules, but ones you personally don't like and agree to be a mature person about it. This also extends to headcanons.4. All contributors will be required to be 18+ by the time acceptance emails go out (May 5th)5. Check ins will last a week, however if you're unable to submit your check in during that time please let us know. We are more than open to offering extensions or exceptions as long as it's clearly communicated.6. Make sure to ask before giving critique. We want this to be a productive but polite environment. If there is any issue please talk to a mod.7. All issues with other contributors must be discussed with a mod or in dms.8. ALL WORK MUST BE ORIGINAL. We are lenient but anyone caught plagiarising, tracing, or stealing others' art will be removed from the project. This includes AI creations or character chatbots. Pieces created using AI will not be included in the zine.9. The zine will contain spoilers for Trigun Stampede, Trigun Maximum, and the 1998 anime, both in the chats and pieces. Spoilers will not be required to be tagged.10. Contributors will not be permitted to share their pieces outside of the server until zines are distributed to buyers. Contributors will own all rights to their pieces and will be free to create their own prints/merch after the buyer copies have been sent out.PROJECT GUIDELINES1. Artists must use templates provided for their pieces, both merch and page, to ensure all dimensions are correct and to avoid formatting issues. If your merch type doesn’t have a template, it must fit the dimensions provided. Writers must keep their pieces 1.5-2k in length.2. All single page pieces and prints must be portrait orientation.3. The entire template must be filled in, including the blue cutoff line. The base zine will be a pdf, meaning pieces will be shown fully.4. Pieces must be SFW. NSFW content will not be featured in the zine.5. To maintain a safe and comfortable environment, we ask that you avoid any dark themes, as well as excessive gore, incest, and loli/shota. Additionally, all characters in romantic relationships should be 18+.6. To go with the rule above, while it's okay and encouraged to depict Knives and Vash in the same piece, ship art of the twins will not be featured in the zine.7. Past check-in 1, all pieces must be submitted as .tif or .jpg files. Please overlay the template on the image at low opacity for every check in. PNG submissions are allowed ONLY for check in 1. Please do not submit pdf files for check ins.8. Only characters present in the canon of Trigun will be allowed. “Canon” includes every official iteration of Trigun - Trigun/Trigun Maximum, 1998 anime, Badlands Rumble, and Trigun Stampede. Fan-designs for not yet revealed characters are okay, as long as the characters are recognizable.
